Re: Forcing Medical Treatment

Just an update. The boy's parents came back and they decided to put their religious ideals aside and let the boy go through chemo. So they get to keep their son. I think that's the only reason they did it.

Re: The Power of the Government

The original idea for Anarchism stemmed from economic issues. People wanted to own land without the government having anything to do with it. And they wanted equal pay for the amount of work they put out. But over the decades it's morphed into separate political ideologies. I just adhere to less gov...

Re: Mass grade change

I must say, you make perfect sense to me. ;) It's a different view on things I think people would benefit from knowing.

Re: The Power of the Government

I wouldn't say I'm Liberal. Liberals have good intentions but many of them are for more government power as far as I am concerned. And conservatives are just sneakier. They have no good intentions it seems but would love to dominate the lower classes. Their economic views are also all based on the f...

Re: Recreational Drug Use

The concept seemed well-intentioned, though they were horribly underequipped and poorly structured to do so and went about it (perhaps) the wrong way. Which leads me to ask the question: What went wrong? Was it really the drug use that caused the prevalence of violence and such, or was it a social ...

Re: Sexting

Yup, I know it. Foolish teens. But because it would be so much worse if they were registered sex offenders, its important to make sure their behaviour isn't repeated. Is 'sexting' appropriate behaviour? (In hindsight, it might be the norm... cultures have different views... schools are different ev...

Re: Sexting

It is going to be very nerve wrecking contradicting you. Haha it shouldn't be. ;) I just feel very strongly about the stupidity of what goes on in our highest reaches of government. It can follow them to their future lives and effect the jobs they get. There have been people that have been refused ...

Re: What's the reason for existence?

I agree with half of what you said. Don't think too hard on it. Just live! But I also do not like thinking about this being my only life. I don't want to stop living! I want to go somewhere instead of the ground whether it be reincarnated or sent to some after life. And also the feeling of something...

Re: Sexting

I have no idea how sending photos of yourself to people of the same age is considered to be pedophilism. (Is that really the word? Haha) I mean the mere definition of the word does not constitute such a claim. I am so sick and tired of these bloody people trying to control what humans do. Like they'...

Re: Forcing Medical Treatment

They're Catholic or a form of Catholic anyway. They believe in more natural remedies and I'm sure they have a case about God proving for their needs but it's probably not mentioned in the news. The boy has already undergone chemo once. I do not know if anyone has sat down with him and fully explaine...
