Hi there forum members! Who here has a raspberry pi and what are you using it for? A pretty general question maybe people are using it in cool ways no one has thought of before. I'm using my pi as a general media center running Xbian clocked at 900MHz(the highest I could go without overvolting). Att...

Re: Remote Missions?

Relevant: https://www.hackthissite.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8520&p=65344 It describes things. The BTA-1 was the first test and a fairly simple mission. At this point though, neither the api or the remote host that beta was on is running so I'm afraid you guys don't get to play. I still...

Re: GoldSpammers

In case of the survey things. If you did trick it into thinking you completed surveys properly (not just changing some client side things) and things are as you say then there is absolutely no way for you to force them to claim a prize. The reason for this is simple and the same for all survey place...

Re: Hidden Anonymous Website Communication(PHP,TOR,IRC)

-1) Nope -2) Nope -3) Sure. It's easy enough to have php connect to an irc server, collect some text somewhere and what not. There is no way to hide this fact though, anyone looking at the code could notice it and any admin looking at the outbound connections would also notice it. I suppose you coul...

Re: GoldSpammers

What they are doing is against the games ToS but it is NOT illegal. Hacking their website would however be illegal. I think maybe its best for you to just ignore them and go on with your game and remember that most of the gold collected by these types of folks is done by very poor kids in a differen...

Re: need some help plz

Its a hash for wordpress. They start with $P$ followed by a char (usually B) followed by an 8 character salt, followed by the actual hash. It's based on md5 but from what I read its actually a loop calling the MD5 algorithm 8192 times. http://hashcat.net/hashcat/ has support for these types of hashe...

Re: I actually just switched...

NightQuest wrote:I miss the days of Firefox 1 & 2, when 40-60MB was average ram usage.

I only had 112MB ram in those days, which is also the reason why moo interfaces with HTS for some adminish tasks.
Switching between irc and firefox could take 5 minutes on that ancient crappy machine.

Re: Is HTS Radio Live? How does it work?

There is a bot that plays files from a playlist. If someone cares to dj we can give credentials(that I totally don't remember) and you can stream using the usual methods. If a dj sucks any op in the #radio channel on irc can issue the !faildj command and the DJ will be booted, also usefull for booti...

Re: New(old) Linux machine

The 32bit acer will work fine with ubuntu. And although VM's are usefull as ninjex said, if given a choice I'd pick a dedicated old machine for testing over a vm. There is something soothing about holding it in your hands and being able to physically throw it when you fuck up. Gives you way more rea...
